Portland
Our Spring trip to Portland, Oregon to see our son John. Nancy is posing in front of one of the oldest Spruce trees in North America, over 750 years old.
When in Portland, we visited a Greek Restaurant with friends of John from Forest Lake, Valerie & Dave Ohleiser. Valerie is the daughter of Jack and Cynthia Duncan, and Dave's family lives in Wyoming, MN. A few months after this photo, Dave's company transferred them to Canada for a job promotion. Dave and John did a lot of rock climbing together.

At the Greek restaurant part of the entertainment was to pick people to throw plates on the floor to break. The Greek owner say's it's the reason they don't get "up-tight" - Take your frustration out on the plates and not others....
Nancy and John got their turn too. What a gas to see this crazy Greek giving out over 50 plates for people to break. Fun night!

John & Mom wrestling on John's new table & chairs. When we got to Portland to visit we found out there was not one chair to sit on so Nancy and I went out to find an inexpensive set so we could have a place to sit. Note that John had skiis in the corner before the chairs... ;)
Jim at Cannon Beach. Nancy and I spent two days at Sea Side right on the ocean. What a beautiful place!
